TRUE Skool, Inc. has provided services and programs since 2004 and was incorporated as a 501(c)(3) non-profit in 2005. Since our inception, TRUE Skool has continued to work with local and national artists, middle and high school aged youth, local and national community based/youth organizations, public officials, law enforcement agencies, small businesses, large corporations and schools/universities to empower youth and young adults through our unique programs and services.

Elephant Rebellion is a collective of artists and activists dedicated to empowering communities through the power of arts and education. We began organizing in 2012 after our friend and fellow artist/activist John Vietnam Nguyen passed away. He left behind a legacy of inspiring change in yourself and your community through positive action and self determination.
Since our inception, we have grown to become an organization that has been giving back to our community through music, dance, poetry, educational workshops and much more. We currently organize at Bridgeview Bank in the Uptown neighborhood of Chicago, IL.

KL is an urban arts youth development organization founded in 1996 by three women, Jaquanda Villegas, Leida Garcia-Mukwacha, and Jacinda Bullie. For two decades, alongside many of Chicago’s artists, activists, educators, and youth communities, KL has honed an arts making practice that presents, preserves and promotes Hip Hop as a tool to reimagine and demonstrate a more just world. KL’s Program Facilitators are a collective of artists, activists, educators, and healers.
Kuumba Lynx provides performances & productions, film screenings, art making workshops & residencies, youth artist apprenticeships, community cultural events (battles, exhibitions, festivals & poetry slams), and praxi sharing, all rooted in an indigenous culture of urban artistry and activism.

Free Write Arts & Literacy engages incarcerated and court-involved youth in the performing, visual, and literary arts so that they become the narrators of their own stories and the authors of their futures. By designing creative space to empower incarcerated and court involved youth, Free Write supports its students in developing educational and career opportunities that reduce recidivism. By engaging in one-on-one literacy tutoring and workshops in creative writing, visual art, and music production, Free Write students build competencies in reading and writing, art making, technical skills, community building, and critical thinking. Students hone and exemplify these skills through publication, exhibition, and performance opportunities in the detention center and in the community.

Our current focus is supporting Complex Movements, an artist collective exploring the relationship between complex science and social justice movements. We also produce special events, for example, the recent "I Do Mind Dying" multimedia performance at New Center Park.
Emergence Media explores the power of creative expression to activate social transformation. We work with a core group of artists and projects, and a wide network of collaborative partners to produce music, multimedia, installations, tours, workshops, and special events. We are based in Detroit, Michigan.
